ETA has negotiated special hotel rates for TRANSACT attendees. A limited number of rooms are available on a first-come basis. The room block expires on March 22, 2024.

INCLUDED IN FEES

Registration fees include all show events, excluding those marked as special events. Special events are priced separately and are available for purchase to attendees on a first-come, first-served basis.

CANCELLATIONS

The cancellation deadline for the event, including special events, is March 17, 2024. Refunds will be subject to a $100 processing fee plus $50 for each special event. No refunds will be issued after the cancellation deadline. No-shows are non-refundable. Cancellations must be made in writing to ETAReg@expotracker.net.

SUBSTITUTIONS

The deadline for substitutions is April 15, 2024. Substitutions must be requested in writing to ETAReg@expotracker.net.

GOLF TOURNAMENT

The deadline to register for the TRANSACT Golf Tournament is March 17, 2024. In addition to the cancellation and substitution policies listed above, please know there are limited openings for golf, and entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Golf registration fee includes greens fees, cart rental, practice balls, and bottled water. No golfers will be assigned to play without a completed golf registration form and payment.  All golfers must be registered attendees of TRANSACT 2024.

Foursome requests cannot be honored if individuals are not registered for TRANSACT 2024. If you have a foursome, be sure that all players list each other to ensure the foursome is kept intact. Space is limited and based on availability. Golfers will be notified of their pairings on the day of the tournament.

VISA CELEBRATION & ETA STAR AWARDS

The deadline to register for the Visa Celebration & ETA Star Awards is April 3, 2024. In addition to the cancellation and substitution policy listed above, please know there are limited seats available, and tickets will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. You must be a registered attendee of TRANSACT 2024 to purchase a ticket.

NAME BADGES

All registrants will be provided with a name badge for use during the event. For security purposes, you will be required to wear your name badge at all times in ETA’s meeting space. Individuals without a visible name badge will not be permitted into the meeting’s areas. Further, attendees may not have some other person participate in their place at any conference-related activity. Such other individuals will be required to register on their own behalf to participate.

Please note that there will be a $50 reprint badge charge for any missing badges needing replacement. Limitations on Use. By registering, you agree not to share, transfer, sell or trade your badge. If you violate this policy, ETA may cancel your attendance and retain any payments.

COVID POLICIES

We will be following CDC, local and hotel policies in place at the time of the event. More information can be found on our T&Cs.

COMPLIANCE

You understand that the Centers for Disease Control (“CDC”) has classified COVID-19 as a highly contagious disease that can be transmitted asymptomatically and can lead to severe illness and death. You recognize that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 and other infectious illnesses exists in any public place where people are present.

You understand that your participation in the Event is completely voluntary on your part and permitted at ETA’s discretion, and you agree to abide by all policies and procedures as established by ETA at the Event, including, but not limited to, following CDC and state and county health department guidelines and orders, requiring proof of vaccination, wearing of masks, and other actions to reduce the likelihood of the spread of COVID-19 at the event.

Media Accreditation Policy

To register as media you must be a working member of the news media (editorial). Publishers, CEOs of any company, videographers or photographers not associated with a media outlet, account representatives, sales executives, newsletter authors or any type of general manager are not considered as press. Please contact stalbott@electran.org to request a media pass.

ETA reserves the right to deny an applicant a press or industry analyst complimentary pass if sufficient credentials are not provided. Accreditation will NOT be granted to: publishers, CEOs of any companies, general managers, freelance videographers or photographers not associated with a media outlet, account representatives, sales executives, engineers, public relations reps, etc. A history of being registered at previous ETA events does not guarantee approval or waive the accreditation requirement.

Outboarding Policy

We ask payments professionals attending TRANSACT to direct your support to the companies who officially exhibit or sponsor TRANSACT. If a payments company comes to Las Vegas the week of TRANSACT, they’re here because your nonprofit trade association, ETA, has invested in making TRANSACT a worthwhile destination for members of the industry.

“Suitcasing” and “Outboarding” are unethical business practices where industry non-exhibitors attempt to gain access to trade show attendees. Suitcasing refers to those non-exhibiting companies or persons who go to shows as an attendee but “work the aisles” to solicit business in the aisles or the lobby area. Outboarding refers to non-exhibiting companies that set-up exhibits at off-site locations (hotel hospitality suites or restaurants) at TRANSACT during set-up days or show days and encourage show attendees to leave the show floor and spend time with them.

This hurts the show and undercuts the huge investment of time, money, personnel and overall support that companies make in TRANSACT. Without their participation, TRANSACT would not be the industry hub that it is. TRANSACT exhibiting companies are encouraged to protect their investment by reporting any outboarding they witness to ETA.

ETA is a nonprofit organization. The funds from TRANSACT help us advocate on behalf our members, educate the industry, and produce world-class events.

As a reminder, Mandalay Bay has a policy to only allow TRANSACT exhibitors or sponsors to book a hotel suite or meeting room during TRANSACT. Those found violating this policy will be subject to a severe penalty. In addition, ETA monitors the housing bookings at the Mandalay Bay, and if any companies go around this policy, and book outside of the TRANSACT housing block, Mandalay Bay can revoke event privileges.
